A Naat competition is a type of competition in which participants recite poetry in praise of the Islamic prophet Muhammad(Peace Be Upon Him). It is a popular form of Islamic art, and competitions are held in many countries. During a Naat competition, each participant will typically recite the same Naat in their own unique style and interpretation. The judges score the participants on their delivery, expression, and memorization of the Naat. The winner of the competition is usually the person who has the highest overall score. Govt College Abbottabad oragnizes Naat events each year and talented students represent college at different levels in Naat competitions.

i feel it as great honor and privilege to head one of the most prestigious educational institutions of the province.

Government Postgraduate College No. 1 Abbottabad is centrally located College, offering the state of art educational facilities to both boys and girls at Intermediate, Degree, BS and Masters levels.

The College administration, teaching faculty and other staff are doing their utmost to make this institution live to its glorious and old traditions(older than Pakistan) in terms of academics, infrastructure and equipment, both in competence and hard-work.
