Naat Recitation

A Naat competition is a type of competition in which participants recite poetry in praise of the Islamic prophet Muhammad(Peace Be Upon Him). It is a popular form of Islamic art, and competitions are held in many countries. During a Naat competition, each participant will typically recite the same Naat in their own unique style and interpretation. The judges score the participants on their delivery, expression, and memorization of the Naat. The winner of the competition is usually the person who has the highest overall score. Govt College Abbottabad oragnizes Naat events each year and talented students represent college at different levels in Naat competitions.
